My Offering...

Therapy is about relationships, to each other, to our self and the world. Building a relationship with an unknown person is an inherently vulnerable and risky process. You are courageously exposing yourself to someone that you don't really know, in hopes of changing, of finding something new, of building a relationship that can create positive change. I respect those who take the leap and believe in the importance of finding a good therapist who's the right fit for you.

Some common reasons people come into therapy with me:
  • General dissatisfaction with life and relationships
  • Feeling isolated and alone
  • Anger problems
  • Patterns of co-dependence or care taking
  • Drug abuse and addiction (technology included)
  • Desire to find purpose in life and step into personal power
  • Feelings of stuck-ness that tend to relate to self-judgment, anxiety and depression
  • Relationship difficulties with men and/or with one's masculinity

Therapy can often be one of the first steps you take on the path of awakening into a life that you really like living. Life is short, and I'd like to support you in living it the way that you want to. One of my deepest passions is supporting people in understanding themselves so that they can make lasting, fulfilling changes in their lives as well as the lives of others.

I consider myself an artist in the realm of shadows, bringing to light the unsavory and the unseen--the blacks, the whites, and the greys--which unleashes a fuller range of colors for you to live in and to create with. What I offer can be very diverse depending on what you want or I feel is needed. I tend to use body-based practices, mindfulness, CBT techniques, and intuitive insights that open doors for you. I offer a space and at times different ways of being that allow us to enter a deeply spiritual space through relationship.

"We must rapidly begin to shift from a thing-oriented society to a person-oriented society. When Machines and computers, profit motives and property rights are considered more important than people, the giant triplets of racism, materialism, and militarism are incapable of being conquered."  - MLK
